1. Welcome to Utopia Beauty
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Utopia Beauty. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
2. Bookings & Appointments
Bookings are auto-confirmed, however I reserve the right to decline any booking that doesn't fit my policy or availability.
Some services require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. If a consultation is required, please ensure this is done in advance to avoid delays or cancellation of your appointment.
My home salon is located in New Milton. Full address details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
3. Patch Tests
For your safety, certain treatments require a patch test before your appointment. This includes services such as aesthetics, skincare treatments, lash and brow tinting, and any treatment involving dyes or chemicals that could cause an allergic reaction.
Patch tests must be carried out at least 24-48 hours before your scheduled treatment. This allows time to check for any adverse reactions.
It is your responsibility to attend a patch test appointment if required. If you have not had a patch test within the required timeframe, I may need to refuse the treatment for your safety.
If you have had a patch test elsewhere within the last 6 months for the same product, please let me know and provide details where possible.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows without any communication, may result in the loss of your booking fee.
I understand that emergencies happen. Please contact me as soon as possible if you're unable to make your appointment, and I'll do my best to accommodate you.
5. Deposits & Booking Fees
A booking fee (20% of the treatment cost) is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
This deposit will be deducted from your final balance on the day of your appointment.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows as outlined in the cancellation policy above.
6. Payment
Payment for the remaining balance is due at the end of your appointment.
I accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments.
Please ensure you have your preferred payment method available at the time of your appointment.
7. Refund Policy
Once a service has been completed, refunds are not available. If you have any concerns about your treatment, please speak to me during or immediately after your appointment so I can address them.
Your satisfaction is important to me, and I will always do my best to resolve any issues.
8. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, let me know as soon as possible.
Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time to avoid disrupting other clients' appointments. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled, and cancellation fees may apply.
9. Health & Safety
Please inform me of any medical conditions, allergies, skin sensitivities, or medications that may affect your treatment. This information helps me provide a safe and effective service.
If you are feeling unwell or have any contagious conditions, please reschedule your appointment to protect both of us.
10. Your Privacy & Data
Any personal information you provide is used solely for booking and appointment purposes.
Your data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties.
By booking with me, you consent to your information being used in this way.
11. Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse or terminate any treatment if I believe it is not in your best interest, if there are health and safety concerns, or if behaviour is inappropriate.
In such cases, the cancellation policy will apply regarding any deposits paid.
